Remembering the past is something I don’t like like doing. In the past, I was a completely different person, than I am now. I made a lot of mistakes I’m not proud of, which I think we all have things we aren’t proud of. Our mistakes are something are something we try to forget, no how hard it is. Everybody makes mistakes. The mistakes we make usually come with regrets. Our regret can take over our lives if we wallow in them too long. So to help and myself, I have compiled a list of 3 thing to help us stop wallowing it them.

1. Admit to yourself that you messed up.
This is really hard, to tell yourself that you messed up.

2. Write down your mistakes, so you b can look at them. And after wards, burn it. My youth minister had us do this; minus the burning part. He wanted us to throw it away. I didn’t, when I got home,I burned it!!

3. Find an accountability partner, someone you trust. And tell them your mistakes.
I have a accountability partner. I have an accountability partner. It’s my best friend, Kelley. Kelley and I have been friends since we were in the nursery at church. I trust Kelley completely and she with me.
So those are my 3 steps. I hope they help you and I’m going to work on wallowing in my mistakes.
