Family, Friends, and Freedom

In this life, we are given so many blessings. Blessings can come in all shapes and sizes. Three of my most abundant blessings are family, friends, and freedom.
My family is one of a kind. I would be surprised if you could find another family like mine. We are a more close knit family than what you find today. I have 3 siblings and we were all homeschooled together, ’til my sister graduated and older brother went to private school. Maybe that’s why we are as close as we are. The size of my family doesn’t stop there; I have 5 uncles, 4 aunts, and 12 first cousins. Its easy to say i come from a big family. Family gathering are anything, but boring. I love my big family; there is no place I would rather be than hanging out with my family. It’s there love and support that gets me through. They’re awesome!!
My friends are people I can be totally crazy with and they will still love me for me. If my Facebook friend list has anything to do with it, I have over 100 friends!! I have narrowed the list down from 100 to 3. Aren’t you happy?
is also my accountability partner. We share just about everything I trust her completely and she with me. Kelley and I were in the nursery at church and have been friends ever since. There was a time when our friendship was put on the back burner, but soon rekindled! Kelley is a blessing in her own crazy way. She is a year old than me, so she gives me advice about what’s going on in my life ’cause she’s been there too.
is another one of those friends I met in the nursery at church. Morgan and I are 4 days apart so we can talk about what’s going on in our lives. Morgan and I will go to lunch together to just catch up on what’s going on in our lives. Life happens, we don’t go to the same church and she goes to private school. Catching up with Morgan is such a blessing, I don’t know where I would be without being able to vent to her!! You’re always there with a listening ear.
is one of my best friends, who is younger than me, but that doesn’t hinder our friendship. Nikki is 3 years younger than me, but to friendship age doesn’t matter. I have known Nikki all her life. I’ve been there through the ups and downs. Our favorite thing to do is have sleepovers and talk. We talk about everything under the sun. Boys, Church, and whatever else we want. Having sleepovers is another venting session for me. Nikki is an awesome friend, who always listens to me.
A blessing we all Americans share is our freedom. I don’t think people understand all the freedoms we do have. If you would like to read all of them look up the Bill of Rights. Two of the biggest freedoms we have are freedom of speech and freedom of religion. That’s not the only freedom, we have. Right now where ever you are, there are men and women fighting to defend our freedom. Those people have sacrificed so much. In my book, they are already heroes. Even if you haven’t fought, it takes a hero to say ‘I am joining the United States Military.’ To all past, present, and future soldiers, I thank you for your service and sacrifice. Thank you for all you do to keep this nation free.
Without my freedom, I wouldn’t be able to post this blog, Thank you!!
